The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SCCM, Windows systems administration, PowerShell scripting, and endpoint management technologies including Microsoft Intune.
Role & responsibilities:
Vulnerability & Patch Management
- Manage and maintain monthly patching cycles across enterprise environments.
- Identify, assess, and remediate system vulnerabilities.
- Monitor patch compliance and generate compliance reports.
- Ensure systems meet security and operational standards.
- Troubleshoot Windows operating system, application, and performance-related issues.
- Support enterprise desktop and endpoint environments.
- Investigate and resolve technical incidents and system failures.
- Manage Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) infrastructure.
- Perform application packaging, deployment, and software distribution.
- Administer patch deployment and compliance reporting.
- Troubleshoot SCCM deployment and client-related issues.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and system administration tasks.
- Create and support batch scripts for deployment and configuration activities.
- Debug, optimize, and improve existing scripts and automation processes.
- Package applications using MSI, EXE, and App-V technologies where applicable.
- Conduct testing and validation of packaged applications.
- Manage application upgrades, patches, and uninstall processes.
- Support and administer Microsoft Intune environments.
- Assist with endpoint configuration and policy management.
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting within Endpoint Manager.
- Strong experience in vulnerability management and patch remediation.
- Hands-on experience with SCCM / Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
- Solid understanding of Windows desktop/server environments.
- Strong PowerShell and batch scripting skills.
- Experience with application packaging and deployment methodologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
- Experience with BigFix patch management tools.
