Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead for a 6-month contract based in Melbourne. The Test Lead will be responsible for leading testing activities across complex integrations, managing vendors, and ensuring high-quality delivery across systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities across multiple projects
- Plan, coordinate, and execute integration testing strategies
- Manage and coordinate external vendors and offshore/onshore testing teams
- Provide leadership and guidance to the internal testing team
- Develop test plans, test strategies, schedules, and reporting
- Ensure testing aligns with project timelines, quality standards, and business requirements
- Identify, track, and manage defects and risks through to resolution
- Collaborate closely with developers, architects, business analysts, and stakeholders
- Provide regular test status updates and reporting to project leadership
- Proven experience in a Test Lead role
- Strong integration testing experience across complex systems
- Hands-on experience with webMethods integration platform
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management
- Strong team management and leadership skills
- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in large enterprise environments
- Exposure to middleware and API-based integrations
- Experience working in regulated or complex environments
