About the client- Our construction client is looking for Senior Security Architect that is strategic and delivery-focused role responsible for designing and guiding the implementation of enterprise security capabilities across key transformation initiatives. This position is heavily aligned to project delivery, with a primary focus on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) initiatives and a Network Segmentation project, complemented by a small proportion of business-as-usual (BAU) work to mature security architecture frameworks and reusable patterns.

Technical skills:

Data Loss Prevention technologies and architecture
Cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Network security and Zero Trust architecture
Application and API security
Security tools (SIEM, EDR, DLP, CASB, etc.)
Experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SABSA, TOGAF)
Understanding of secure SDLC and DevSecOps practices

Experience

7+ years in cyber security, with 8+ years in architecture or senior security roles
Hands-on experience delivering Security architecture for a large-scale DLP project
Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise security solutions
Experience in large, complex IT environments

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cyber Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Relevant certifications such as:
- o CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- o SABSA (desirable)
- o TOGAF (desirable)
- o Cloud security certifications (e.g., CCSP, AWS Security Specialty)
