About the client- Our construction client is looking for Senior Security Architect that is strategic and delivery-focused role responsible for designing and guiding the implementation of enterprise security capabilities across key transformation initiatives. This position is heavily aligned to project delivery, with a primary focus on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) initiatives and a Network Segmentation project, complemented by a small proportion of business-as-usual (BAU) work to mature security architecture frameworks and reusable patterns.  

Technical skills:
  • Data Loss Prevention technologies and architecture
  • Cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Network security and Zero Trust architecture
  • Application and API security
  • Security tools (SIEM, EDR, DLP, CASB, etc.)
  • Experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SABSA, TOGAF)
  • Understanding of secure SDLC and DevSecOps practices
Experience
  • 7+ years in cyber security, with 8+ years in architecture or senior security roles
  • Hands-on experience delivering Security architecture for a large-scale DLP project
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise security solutions
  • Experience in large, complex IT environments
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cyber Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Relevant certifications such as:
    • o CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
    • o SABSA (desirable)
    • o TOGAF (desirable)
    • o Cloud security certifications (e.g., CCSP, AWS Security Specialty)
