We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale eCommerce transformation program across the Social Enterprises portfolio. Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, implementation partners and vendors, you will be responsible for delivering two key project streams: the migration of Brotherhood Books to a new eCommerce platform and the establishment of Hunter Gatherer as a new online retail channel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of two key eCommerce initiatives:
- Migration of Brotherhood Books from Magento to the new eCommerce platform.
- Establishment of Hunter Gatherer as a new online retail channel.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate platform implementation activities, ensuring alignment with agreed business, functional, technical and customer experience requirements.
- Manage delivery of system integrations across inventory, POS, payment gateways, fulfilment, shipping, CRM, email marketing, analytics and reporting platforms.
- Oversee data migration activities, including product, customer, order and content migration, ensuring data quality, validation and successful transition.
- Lead testing activities including System Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and operational readiness.
- Drive change management activities including stakeholder engagement, communications, training and business readiness.
- Coordinate release planning, cutover activities, go-live execution, hypercare support and transition to business-as-usual operations.
- Manage implementation partners, vendors and cross-functional delivery teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Identify project risks, issues and dependencies, providing proactive mitigation strategies and regular status reporting to stakeholders.
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end eCommerce platform implementations or digital transformation projects.
- Strong project management experience across the full project lifecycle, from planning through to go-live and hypercare.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-stream projects involving platform implementation, system integration, data migration and business change.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors and implementation partners.
- Strong understanding of system integrations across eCommerce, payments, inventory, CRM, fulfilment and related business applications.
- Experience leading testing phases including System Testing, Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and workshop facilitation skills.
- Strong risk, issue, budget and project governance management experience.
- Excellent written documentation, planning and reporting skills
