We are looking for an experienced Primavera P6 Programmer / Scheduler to join a central PMO and provide scheduling support across a portfolio of complex projects.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple projects and contractors, with responsibility for developing robust, resource-loaded programmes and providing accurate reporting to support project delivery and commercial outcomes.

You will be responsible for:
  • Developing, updating and maintaining Primavera P6 programmes across multiple concurrent projects
  • Building and managing resource-loaded schedules, ensuring resource allocation and forecasting remain accurate
  • Establishing and maintaining project structures including EPS, OBS, WBS and activity coding
  • Producing programme reporting and Power BI dashboards using P6 data to provide visibility of progress, productivity and performance
  • Managing baselines, progress updates and rolling lookahead programmes
  • Monitoring critical paths, programme logic, milestones and schedule performance
  • Ensuring programmes are maintained to a standard that provides clear and defensible evidence for EOT and variation claims
  • Working closely with Project Managers, Program Managers, commercial teams and contractors to align programmes with project and contractual requirements
  • Supporting consistent scheduling processes, coding standards and governance across the portfolio
  • Managing P6/XER file exchanges with head contractors and subcontractors
About You:
You will have 5+ years' hands-on Primavera P6 experience, with a strong background in resource-loaded programming and schedule management.

You'll ideally bring:
  • Strong Primavera P6 capability, including resource loading and resource levelling
  • Experience working across construction, infrastructure or engineering projects
  • A solid understanding of critical path methodology, programme logic and schedule analysis
  • Experience developing Power BI reporting from P6 data
  • Experience working with multiple projects, contractors and stakeholders simultaneously
  • An understanding of programme requirements relating to EOTs, variations and commercial claims
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with project teams, contractors and senior stakeholders
