We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client for an initial 6-month temporary contract. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they are delivered within agreed scope, time, budget and quality parameters.
A key requirement for this position is demonstrated experience managing Business & IT projects , including implementation, enhancement, transformation or related business systems initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects from planning through to implementation and closure.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies and quality.
  • Work closely with Business Owners, subject matter experts, technical teams and external vendors.
  • Manage Business & IT-related projects , ensuring business requirements, system impacts and delivery outcomes are clearly understood.
  • Support requirements gathering, business analysis and assessment of impacts across business processes and operating models.
  • Prepare project plans, governance documentation, status reports, meeting packs, minutes and risk/issue registers.
  • Facilitate project working groups and stakeholder meetings.
  • Identify and escalate key risks, issues, dependencies and delivery challenges.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to improving project management frameworks, tools and delivery practices.
Key Requirements
  • Strong end-to-end project management experience across scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Experience with  implementation, enhancement, transformation or integration projects .
  • Strong business analysis and requirements gathering capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage ambiguity and take accountability for complex projects.
  • Experience working with internal teams, vendors and senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills and experience with project portfolio management tools.
  • Government or regulated industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Business, Business Analysis or a related discipline.
  • PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile or other relevant project management certification is desirable.
Eligibility

Applicants must be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen with a valid passport .
Travel to other work locations may be required.
