We are on the lookout for an experienced IT Training Specialist to join our client's team on an initial 6-month contract in Melbourne. You'll be responsible for creating impactful training strategies and delivering engaging, user-friendly learning content for two integrated platforms. You’ll work closely with subject matter experts, project teams, and business stakeholders to ensure all training materials meet the needs of a diverse user base across various roles and experience levels.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and execute end-to-end training strategies for new IT systems and associated business processes.
  • Develop a wide range of training materials including e-learning modules, video tutorials, user guides, and facilitator-led session content.
  • Coordinate and support subject matter experts in delivering in-person and virtual training sessions.
  • Conduct learning needs analyses to tailor content for various user groups and roles.
  • Collaborate closely with change management, IT, and quality teams to ensure consistency with existing training standards and business goals.
  • Manage training logistics, scheduling, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support transition of training resources to BAU teams and embed materials into existing LMS and knowledge platforms.
  • Attend project meetings and contribute to business readiness and change reporting.
About You
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT systems training, instructional design, or learning & development roles.
  • Proven experience in creating and publishing system training across multiple formats (e-learnings, videos, written guides, live training).
  • Proficiency with training tools such as Camtasia, Articulate Rise360, Microsoft Office, and LMS platforms.
  • Confident communicator who can engage with stakeholders at all levels and build strong working relationships.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving project environments.
Desirable:
  • Strong understanding of Quality Management processes.
  • Experience with RIBcx and/or Hexagon Smart Completions platforms.
  • Experience supporting Quality Management System implementations.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or similar qualifications in adult education or instructional design.
