IT Service Desk Officer – Warragul | 3-Month Contract (Likely Extension)

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced IT Service Desk Officer to deliver professional and efficient technical support across several regional locations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining systems, supporting end users, and assisting with various IT improvement initiatives.
This is a initial short contract with a strong likelihood of extension.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide both onsite and remote support for desktops, networks, and telecommunications.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance, security, and reliability.
  • Manage user accounts, devices, and software through tools such as Intune and SCCM .
  • Assist with setup and maintenance of audiovisual equipment for meetings and events.
  • Keep IT documentation and knowledge bases up to date.
  • Manage Level 1 and 2 incidents, requests, and changes in alignment with ITIL processes.
  • Escalate complex issues and coordinate with vendors as required.
  • Contribute to team meetings, process reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
Skills and Experience
  • At least 2- 3 years of experience in an IT support or service desk environment.
  • Proven ability in Office 365 and Azure administration.
  • Experience with telecommunications systems or network infrastructure is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Windows and macOS systems and hardware.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support users of varying technical levels.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 , Azure Fundamentals ) will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites and manage competing priorities.
