We are seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Officer to provide professional and efficient IT support across multiple sites.. This role involves delivering hands-on support for staff and students, maintaining IT systems, and contributing to IT projects and improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Office 365 and Azure, a passion for technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite and remote IT support for networks, desktops, and telecommunications.
- Monitor system performance, security, and integrity, identifying and resolving emerging issues.
- Assist with provisioning and de-provisioning staff and student accounts, devices, and software using SCCM/Intune.
- Support audiovisual requirements for meetings and events across campuses.
- Maintain IT knowledge bases, documentation, and assist with IT projects.
- Manage Level 1 and 2 incidents, requests, and change management in line with ITIL standards.
- Escalate issues and liaise with vendors for timely resolution.
- Participate in meetings, training, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT support, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong proficiency in Office 365 and Azure administration.
- Experience with various hardware and operating systems (Windows, macOS).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified, Azure Fundamentals) are highly regarded.
