This role will play a key part in modernising core platforms and uplifting service delivery, driving initiatives across cloud, automation, and modern workplace. You will lead large, cross-functional teams, embed strong governance and ITIL practices, and foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture across Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end IT operations including infrastructure, networks, telecoms, EUC, and service desk
- Ensure 24/7 operational resilience, incident response, and service continuity
- Drive cloud and platform modernisation, automation, and continuous improvement
- Oversee service management frameworks (ITIL) including change, incident, and release management
- Partner with executive stakeholders to align IT services with business strategy and outcomes
- Manage vendors, sourcing strategies, and IT budgets to optimise cost and performance
- You are a strategic yet hands-on technology leader who thrives in complex environments. You bring strong commercial acumen, a focus on continuous improvement, and the ability to balance operational excellence with transformation delivery. Skills & Experience:
- Proven leadership of large-scale IT operations and infrastructure teams
- Strong technical expertise across networks (WAN/LAN), cloud (Azure/AWS), end-user computing, and hosting environments
- Deep understanding of IT service management (ITIL) and 24/7 operational environments
- Experience delivering cloud and modern workplace strategies, including automation and monitoring tools
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity, risk, and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, PCI-DSS)
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management, commercial negotiations, and cost optimisation
- Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture, capacity planning, and performance management
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with experience influencing C-suite and Board-level stakeholders
