This role will lead the end-to-end delivery of a new pricing tool/platform implementation, working across business, technology, data, finance, merchandising, and operations teams to deliver a commercially impactful solution. The successful candidate will combine strong delivery leadership with deep retail and pricing domain expertise, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technology execution, and operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale pricing tool implementation from discovery through deployment and hypercare
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and delivery governance across multiple workstreams
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align delivery outcomes with commercial and operational objectives
- Drive implementation activities across pricing platforms, integrations, data migration, and process transformation
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, data, finance, merchandising, and operations
- Facilitate steering committees, executive reporting, and key decision-making forums
- Ensure effective change management, business readiness, training, and user adoption activities
- Manage external vendors, implementation partners, and third-party stakeholders
- Proven experience delivering complex technology transformation programs within retail environments
- Strong understanding of pricing strategy, margin optimisation, promotions, markdowns, rebates, and retail operations
- Experience implementing pricing platforms or pricing ERP solutions such as Pricefx, Oracle, or similar
- Strong delivery management experience across Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall environments
- Experience managing complex integrations, enterprise data flows, and cross-functional dependencies
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills
- Ability to balance commercial outcomes with technical delivery requirements
- Strong risk, issue, and dependency management capability
