We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Platforms Manager to lead the governance, stability, and continuous improvement of a suite of core enterprise systems, including Dynamics 365 and Business Central. This role will oversee the end-to-end performance and evolution of enterprise platforms—ensuring they’re secure, scalable, and delivering strong business value.
You’ll lead a small, capable team, manage vendor relationships, and play a key role in defining the roadmap that supports the organisation’s broader digital and operational strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for enterprise platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Manage platform budgets, forecasting, and financial efficiency across support and enhancement activities.
- Oversee governance frameworks including change control, release management, and documentation standards.
- Maintain system stability through structured lifecycle management, maintenance, and issue resolution.
- Lead vendor performance and contract management, ensuring SLA compliance and delivery quality.
- Drive adoption and engagement through training, communication, and stakeholder management.
- Research emerging technologies and identify opportunities for platform optimisation and automation.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and capability development across the Enterprise Platforms Team.
- Deliver reporting on system performance, risks, and roadmap progress to senior leadership.
You’ll be a strategic and hands-on platforms leader who thrives on balancing governance, delivery, and continuous improvement. You bring strong technical understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) , Business Central , and Power Platform , along with proven experience managing vendors, budgets, and technical teams.
You’ll also have:
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated success managing enterprise applications and system governance.
- Deep understanding of platform configuration, integrations, and data integrity.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
