Our Healthcare client is looking for an experienced Business Services Applications Analyst in Melbourne to perform proactive maintenance, troubleshooting and problem resolution services for their Business Services Applications.
The Position is responsible for:
- Triage, investigation & resolution of support calls assigned to Business Services Applications Team within agreed SLAs
- Liaise with software vendors to log, escalate and follow-up problems that require software fix
- Application software testing, documentation, and release software fixes.
- Provide problem resolution documentation and notification to users
- Maintain standard configuration
- Participate in projects as required
- End user training
- Experience with the following software systems: SAS (software system for data analysis and report writing) and general Web Programming, i.e. HTML and javascript
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Logical and methodical approach to tasks
- Good Microsoft Office and desktop skills
- Commitment to continually providing high standards of customer service
- Well-developed communication and written skills and proven ability to develop and present clear and concise written submissions
- Ability to work co-operatively as a member of a team, provide advice and support to less experienced staff, transfer knowledge and skills
- Ability to cope with unexpected workloads and changing priorities, and proven ability to effectively plan work activities and meet strict timelines
