Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities for large-scale data migration and data platform initiatives.
- Elicit, analyse, and document business and data requirements, including source-to-target mappings and data transformation rules.
- Work closely with data engineers, architects, and platform teams to support migration planning and execution.
- Support data profiling, data quality assessment, and reconciliation activities.
- Translate complex data concepts into clear, understandable documentation for non-technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to define current-state and future-state data processes.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Support testing phases including system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure data governance, security, and identity requirements are understood and incorporated into solutions.
- 5+ years’ experience working in dedicated Business Analyst roles.
- Proven experience delivering data migration and data platform projects.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and identity/access management is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of data structures, data models, and data lifecycle concepts.
- Excellent documentation skills (business requirements, functional specifications, data mappings).
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
- Experience working within Financial Services or Insurance environments would be beneficial.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
