We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Data Migration) to join a growing transformation programme focused on modernising data platforms and improving data quality across the organisation. This role will play a key part in planning, analysing, and delivering complex data migration initiatives while working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business analysis activities for large-scale data migration and data platform initiatives.
  • Elicit, analyse, and document business and data requirements, including source-to-target mappings and data transformation rules.
  • Work closely with data engineers, architects, and platform teams to support migration planning and execution.
  • Support data profiling, data quality assessment, and reconciliation activities.
  • Translate complex data concepts into clear, understandable documentation for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to define current-state and future-state data processes.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Support testing phases including system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ensure data governance, security, and identity requirements are understood and incorporated into solutions.
Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years’ experience working in dedicated Business Analyst roles.
  • Proven experience delivering data migration and data platform projects.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and identity/access management is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, data models, and data lifecycle concepts.
  • Excellent documentation skills (business requirements, functional specifications, data mappings).
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Experience working within Financial Services or Insurance environments would be beneficial.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
