We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer with strong expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and Agentic AI systems to join our Melbourne-based team on a 6-month contract.
This role will focus on designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered solutions leveraging modern ML frameworks and cloud platforms (Azure or GCP).
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI solutions using LLMs and Generative AI models
- Build and implement Agentic AI systems (multi-agent workflows, tool use, orchestration frameworks)
- Develop ML pipelines from data preprocessing to model deployment
- Fine-tune and optimize foundation models for business use cases
- Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures
- Work with structured and unstructured datasets
- Collaborate with data engineers and cloud teams for scalable deployment
- Deploy AI solutions using Azure (OpenAI, ML Studio, Cognitive Services) or GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery, AI Platform)
- Ensure model performance, scalability, and security
- Conduct experimentation, A/B testing, and statistical validation
- Document technical solutions and best practices
- 4+ years experience in AI/ML or Data Science roles
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
