The role plays a critical part in enabling Capability Centre strategy, ensuring service continuity, stakeholder confidence, governance compliance, and successful handover of operations into the Capability Centre.
- Transition Strategy & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end transition delivery for assigned functions, portfolio domains and capabilities transitioning into the Bupa Capability Centre.
- Drive transition planning through all phases including Discovery, Opportunity Qualification, Recruitment & Planning, Onboarding & Knowledge Transfer, Go-Live & Closure and handover to Post Transition stakeholders.
- Ensure transitions are delivered to agreed scope, timelines, quality standards, and business outcomes.
- Support clear transition deliverables, success measures, and exit criteria.
- Requirements Gathering & Scoping
- Facilitate discovery workshops and stakeholder engagement activities to assess transition qualification and suitability.
- Lead process and capability scope definition, documentation, and validation activities.
- o Partner with functional SMEs to understand current-state operating models, workloads, dependencies, risks, and controls.
- Support the definition of future-state operating models and support capability design activities where required.
- Translate business requirements into actionable transition plans and delivery outcomes.
- Knowledge Transfer and Operational Readiness
- Governance, Reporting & Controls
- Establish transition governance frameworks and reporting mechanisms for assigned functions and capabilities.
- Provide delivery oversight, ensuring progress is tracked against milestones, schedules, and agreed outcomes.
- Prepare executive-level status reporting, dashboards, and steering committee materials.
- Maintain transition plans, RAID registers, decision logs, and governance artefacts with support from PMO resources.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, risk, and regulatory requirements.

- Contribute to the development of transition methodologies, playbooks, templates, and governance frameworks.
- Capture lessons learned and embed best practices into future transition activities.
- Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years proven experience in some or all the following: process transformation, IT operating model design, transition delivery.
- Experience managing complex cross-functional projects or portfolios involving multiple stakeholders and business units.
- Strong transition management, portfolio delivery, and operational readiness experience.
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Experience managing knowledge transfer, transition, and stabilisation activities within a global delivery environment.
- Strong risk, issue, dependency, and governance management capabilities.
- Desirable
- Experience leading and managing shared services, outsourcing, or Global Capability Centre transitions.
- Experience within healthcare, insurance, financial services, or regulated industries.
- Knowledge of shared services/capabilities, business process optimisation, or global business services operating models.
- Project or Program Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent).
- Change Management certification (Prosci or equivalent).
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
