We’re seeking an experienced Technology Program Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, large-scale technology initiatives. This is a high-impact role where you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of a major ERP Program, including core technical streams such as Architecture, Data Migration, Integration, Reporting, and Testing.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels in managing cross-functional teams, and is passionate about delivering business-critical technology with precision and strategic foresight.
What You’ll Do:
- Own and deliver large-scale technology workstreams within an enterprise transformation program.
- Lead the program from planning through to deployment, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery.
- Engage and influence a diverse range of senior stakeholders across technology and business functions.
- Manage complex dependencies and technical integration across internal and third-party systems.
- Drive excellence in delivery through Agile practices while aligning with enterprise governance and PMO frameworks.
- Oversee procurement of technical services and third-party vendors, managing contractual obligations and delivery milestones.
- Provide leadership and visibility across risk, change, and communication management, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.
- Act as the key conduit between business strategy and technical execution — shaping outcomes, not just tracking them.
- Proven experience leading large-scale, complex technology programs in enterprise environments.
- Strong background in both traditional (Waterfall/PMBOK) and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage senior business stakeholders, influence decisions, and drive alignment across departments.
- Deep understanding of enterprise systems, architecture, data migration, testing, and integrated delivery environments.
- Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and performance oversight.
- Skilled in risk management, governance adherence, and continuous improvement of delivery practices.
- Adept at navigating ambiguity, removing blockers, and maintaining delivery momentum in evolving program landscapes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Agile, PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent preferred.
- 8+ years in IT project or program management, including experience in enterprise software delivery.
- $1,100 - $1,200 p/d.
- Inital 6-month contract, extensions highly likely.
- 3 days p/w in office (Melbourne CBD).
