This role will suit a highly capable Business Analyst who can confidently bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, with a strong understanding of Salesforce, data flows, integrations, and business process analysis. You will play a critical role in documenting current and future-state processes, understanding how data moves across systems, and ensuring business rules and downstream impacts are clearly understood and captured.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead workshops with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements.
- Map end-to-end business processes using BPMN, Visio, or similar process modelling tools.
- Analyse Salesforce data models and document data structures, relationships, and business rules.
- Produce detailed integration mappings between Salesforce and downstream/upstream systems.
- Document data lineage, including system touchpoints, ownership, transformations, and dependencies.
- Identify and document business rules, system triggers, workflows, and customer communications generated by system events.
- Work closely with solution architects, developers, integration specialists, and business SMEs to ensure requirements are understood and aligned to delivery outcomes.
- Create high-quality functional and technical documentation to support project delivery and governance.
You are a proactive and technically minded Business Analyst who is comfortable operating in complex enterprise environments. You have the ability to independently investigate business processes, ask the right questions, and clearly articulate how systems, data, and business operations interact.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Senior Technical Business Analyst on large-scale transformation or technology programs.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data models and platform capabilities.
- Experience documenting system integrations, API interactions, and data mappings.
- Strong process mapping skills using BPMN, Visio, or equivalent tools.
- Experience producing data lineage documentation and analysing end-to-end data flows.
- Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and drive outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience within Utilities, Water, Energy, or other asset-intensive industries.
- Exposure to customer service, field services, billing, or operational systems integrated with Salesforce.
- Experience working alongside integration, architecture, and data teams.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration platforms and cloud-based application ecosystems.
- Circa $1,000 p/d
- 2x 3-month intial contracts, potential to extend long term.
- Hybrid work environment (3 days p/w in office).
