About the Role
As a Senior Network Engineer , you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of enterprise network platforms – from design and implementation to optimisation and support. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams to deliver robust, secure, and scalable network solutions that underpin critical business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN).
- Review and validate architectural designs to ensure scalability, resilience, and alignment with best practices.
- Configure and manage routers, firewalls, switches, and wireless technologies to optimise network performance.
- Implement and maintain security frameworks to protect against cyber threats and service interruptions.
- Conduct ongoing network monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex network incidents and escalations.
- Manage disaster recovery strategies and ensure network continuity plans are in place.
- Maintain detailed network documentation and adhere to governance and change control processes.
- 7+ years’ hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering roles.
- Advanced certifications such as CCNP (or higher) highly regarded.
- Strong experience with technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5 , and network management tools.
- Expertise in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, VRF, MPLS, QoS) and modern architectures like SD-WAN, VxLAN .
- Exposure to cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP) and emerging frameworks like SASE, UCaaS, CCaaS .
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and documentation skills.
