The Role As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role across the full lifecycle of the program — from early-stage planning and process mapping through to delivery and hypercare.
Working across HR functions, you’ll lead the capture and validation of requirements, map Level 4 and Level 5 business processes, and ensure solutions are aligned to business needs as the organisation implements its new HRIS platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering through workshops, interviews, and analysis
- Develop detailed business process models (Level 4 & 5 BPMN)
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops across business and technology teams
- Translate business needs into clear technical and functional specifications
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business, delivery, and vendors
- Support the full SDLC, ensuring quality and alignment at every stage
- 10+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, operating at a senior level
- Strong experience delivering HRIS or Workday transformation programs
- Proven capability in BPMN process modelling (Level 4 & 5)
- Experience writing technical specifications, including integrations and interfaces (APIs)
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working across Agile and Waterfall environments
- Proficient with tools such as DevOps, Confluence, Excel, Visio/Lucid/Miro
- Highly structured, detail-oriented, and able to manage complexity with confidence
- Background in enterprise transformation, system integration, or platform migration programs
- Experience working with system integrators and software vendors
- $900 - $950 p/d (including super)
- 6-month intial contract, high liklihood of extension
- Nearby Melbourne CBD location (3-4 days p/w in office)
