We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join a major construction program on an initial contract basis. Working within a large-scale project environment, you will be responsible for establishing, maintaining and continuously improving project schedules that support the successful delivery of complex construction works valued between $100M and $300M.

This is a hands-on role requiring a highly capable scheduler who can operate confidently in a fast-paced construction environment, working closely with project managers, site teams, contractors and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage day-to-day scheduling activities, ensuring accurate reporting of progress, milestones, dependencies and critical path activities.
  • Work closely with project delivery teams to capture schedule updates and forecast project outcomes.
  • Produce schedule analysis, progress reports and insights for project leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Identify schedule risks, delays and opportunities, providing recommendations to support successful project delivery.
  • Establish and embed best-practice project controls, scheduling standards and governance processes across the organisation.
  • Support the ongoing maturity and capability of project planning and scheduling practices.
About You:
  • Proven experience as a Project Scheduler within large-scale construction projects valued between $100M and $300M.
  • Strong expertise using Microsoft Project, with experience in Primavera P6 highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage complex integrated project schedules.
  • Sound understanding of project controls, governance frameworks and scheduling best practices.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence project teams and leadership.
  • Comfortable working in a predominantly site-based environment during the initial stages of the engagement.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing competing priorities.
