We’re looking for an experienced IT Service Desk Officer to deliver professional and efficient technical support across several regional locations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining systems, supporting end users, and assisting with various IT improvement initiatives.
This is a initial short contract with a strong likelihood of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide both onsite and remote support for desktops, networks, and telecommunications.
- Monitor and maintain system performance, security, and reliability.
- Manage user accounts, devices, and software through tools such as Intune and SCCM .
- Assist with setup and maintenance of audiovisual equipment for meetings and events.
- Keep IT documentation and knowledge bases up to date.
- Manage Level 1 and 2 incidents, requests, and changes in alignment with ITIL processes.
- Escalate complex issues and coordinate with vendors as required.
- Contribute to team meetings, process reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
- At least 2- 3 years of experience in an IT support or service desk environment.
- Proven ability in Office 365 and Azure administration.
- Experience with telecommunications systems or network infrastructure is desirable.
- Strong understanding of Windows and macOS systems and hardware.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support users of varying technical levels.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 , Azure Fundamentals ) will be highly regarded.
