Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and integration processes to support the migration of BIM and construction data across multiple platforms.
- Work with BIM teams and technical stakeholders to understand building data structures and ensure accurate data mapping between systems.
- Support the ingestion, transformation, and modelling of BIM datasets to enable downstream analytics, reporting, and operational use.
- Build and maintain scalable data workflows and pipelines within modern cloud-based data platforms.
- Ensure strong data quality, validation, and governance throughout the data migration and integration process.
- Collaborate with solution architects, BIM specialists, and project teams to support broader digital engineering and construction technology initiatives.
- Contribute to the automation and optimisation of data engineering processes within the organisation’s technology stack.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience working as a Data Engineer in complex data environments.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies and construction-related data.
- Experience working with BIM data structures and tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar BIM platforms.
- Hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools including: Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, SQL, Python, Fivetran, GitHub.
- Experience designing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformations.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data governance, and integration patterns.
- Ability to collaborate with both technical teams and construction/BIM stakeholders.
