We are seeking an experienced D365 F&O Solution Architect to join our client's team on a 6-month contract.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering effective Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions that align with business objectives and strategic technology roadmaps. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure and sustainable technology solutions.
You will also provide architectural leadership, evaluate solution options and ensure that solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the solution architecture and design of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand project objectives, requirements and constraints.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions, considering cost of ownership, scalability, security, performance and long-term business value.
- Develop and document solution architectures across business, application, information and technology domains.
- Facilitate workshops and design discussions to align stakeholders on preferred solution approaches.
- Ensure solution development aligns with approved architecture designs, enterprise standards and strategic technology roadmaps.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentoring to project teams.
- Contribute to enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, reference architectures and technology roadmaps.
- Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, technology capabilities and operational efficiency.
- Ensure solutions address operational requirements, including maintainability, monitoring, resilience and high availability.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions.
- Proven experience taking ownership of solution architecture, design decisions and implementation outcomes.
- Strong understanding of solution architecture across business, application, information and technology domains.
- Experience evaluating and selecting technology solutions and components to meet business and technical requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops across business and technical teams.
- Experience working across various software development methodologies.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical, scalable and sustainable technology solutions.
- Experience or certification in enterprise architecture frameworks and notations such as TOGAF and ArchiMate.
- Experience developing enterprise architecture principles, standards, reference architectures and strategic technology roadmaps.
