Specific skills which will make candidate stand out:
- 4+ years Project Change Management Experience preferably within aged care, health, or other highly regulated sectors.
- Hands-on experience in the Aged Care sector with a deep understanding of its operations, challenges, and complexity.
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools, with demonstrated ability to adapt them to care environments.
- Experience developing training materials, delivering training, scheduling, and implementing training plans
- Accredited in one or more organisational or project change methodology
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
The Project Change Manager – Aged Care Specialist, is responsible for executing change management for the Aged Care Reform (Support at Home) Project in alignment with BSL’s Change Management Office (CMO). This hands-on role includes end-to-end planning, execution and sustainment, with a focus on readiness, communications, learning, feedback loops, and adoption support. The role works closely with staff and stakeholders to implement changes smoothly, resolve issues quickly, and support day-to-day adoption.
Critical tasks
- Deliver project-level change management for Aged Care Reform (Support at Home), applying BSL Change Management Office (CMO) artefacts, tools, processes, reporting, and quality standards while tailoring approaches to a low change-maturity, high-regulation environment.
- Develop training materials & FAQs, schedule and deliver training, and implement the training plan to support meaningful adoption by care teams.
- Lead and enable Change Champions, including facilitating workshops and providing guidance to embed behavioural and cultural change across the organisation.
- Communication – written and verbal primarily for highly impacted stakeholders, change champions and internal SMEs. Org-wide and External comms delivered by BSL marketing and comms team
