This engagement is not security-focused (i.e., not a SOC setup), but rather about ensuring effective monitoring and management of a large enterprise network environment.
What You Will Do
- Lead the analysis, design, and planning for the initial establishment of a Network Operations Centre
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define NOC capabilities, processes, and supporting systems
- Develop documentation, process maps, and functional requirements to support delivery
- Provide insights into performance monitoring, network stability, and service improvement opportunities
- Proven experience establishing a Network Operations Centre (not just operating within one)
- Strong understanding of network performance, monitoring tools, and operational processes
- Demonstrated ability to design practical, fit-for-purpose NOC capabilities
- Experience in operating model design (roles, processes, handoffs, governance)
- Exposure to large, complex enterprise environments
- Initial 3-month contract focused on design and establishment
- High likelihood of extension into delivery phase
