The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst
to join a high-profile risk transformation program within a leading superannuation environment. This role plays a key part in the successful delivery of a broad program of regulatory and operational uplift projects.
As a Business Analyst, you’ll work across the full project lifecycle—partnering with stakeholders, driving requirements gathering, performing gap analysis, and ensuring traceability through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements
- Map current state processes, perform gap analysis, and define future state
- Support solution design and ensure alignment with business needs
- Liaise with technical teams to validate requirements and technical documentation
- Assist in test planning, triage, and impact analysis
- Contribute to change impact assessments and support change management activities
- Work in an agile squad, contributing to sprints, UCD processes, and release plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes
- 5–10 years' experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong experience in the superannuation or broader financial services sector
- Proven experience with regulatory change projects
- Expertise in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
- Strong skills in JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and collaboration tools
- Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and stakeholder-facing
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, complex environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, IT, or related field
- IIBA certifications (ECBA, CCBA) or similar
- Agile certifications (CSBA, PMI-ACP, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and systems thinking principles
