We’re partnering with a leading organisation to deliver a key Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) optimisation initiative and are seeking an experienced End-User Computing (EUC) Business Analyst to play a pivotal role.

This is a high-impact opportunity to shape how end users interact with modern desktop environments, bringing clarity and structure to a complex and highly visible program.

As the EUC Business Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to define and optimise AVD user profiles across a cohort of 150+ users.

You’ll analyse current state usage, define future state requirements, and ensure all technical inputs are clearly documented for infrastructure teams to design, build, and test fit-for-purpose virtual desktop environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand and document user needs, applications, and use cases
  • Analyse current state environments and map requirements across AVD profiles
  • Define future state user journeys and optimal desktop experiences
  • Classify and segment users into appropriate AVD profiles
  • Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements
  • Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for engineers and architects
  • Define application access, packaging, and deployment requirements
  • Establish performance, availability, and user experience expectations
  • Work with infrastructure teams on:
    • Identity integration with Azure Active Directory
    • Access models and conditional access policies
    • Endpoint management and device strategies
  • Define interim hybrid desktop environments during migration
  • Support change, adoption, and communication activities
  • Assess downstream impacts to service desk and support models
About You
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within End-User Computing (EUC) or Digital Workplace environments
  • Strong experience working on AVD, VDI, or desktop transformation programs
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage highly visible business groups
  • Skilled in eliciting and documenting both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to structure and organise complex data sets
  • Experience translating business needs into technical delivery outcomes
  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, identity, access management, and endpoint management
  • Methodical, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
What's on offer?
  • $900 - $950 p/d (including super)
  • 6-month initial contract
  • Nearby Melbourne CBD location (3-4 days p/w in office).
