About the Role/Team -
In this permanent role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable applications and systems on the Azure platform, joining a team deep in the middle of modernising their eCommerce and retail platforms.
Think large-scale systems, cloud-first architecture, and customer-facing tech at true national scale.
They’re looking to bring in 2 x hands-on Azure Developers - both need to be someone who’s done the hard yards in ambiguous environments and knows how to build, script, and solve without waiting for perfect documentation.
If you’ve worked in smaller teams, greenfield projects, or helped migrate to Azure - this is your kind of playground.
This is a backend-heavy Azure Developer role focused on modernising core systems using .NET, C#, and cloud-native solutions.

- Develop scalable backend services using .NET Core, C#, and Azure PaaS
- Help lead the cloud migration journey, with a focus on clean architecture, integration, and performance
- Write deployment scripts, manage CI/CD, and build solutions with DevOps best practice
- Collaborate daily with Architects, Product Owners, and other Devs - no silos
- Be hands-on in shaping and documenting APIs, microservices, and integration layers
- Support Power Platform / PowerApps solutions where needed
- Navigate unknowns – bring ideas, share knowledge, and work through complexity
- Must be Melbourne based and have full working rights
- Strong experience in .NET Core, C#, Azure PaaS, and backend integration
- Comfortable writing deployment pipelines, scripts, and working with CI/CD tooling
- Solid understanding of APIs, microservices, cloud-native patterns
- Bonus: any exposure to Power Platform, React, Blazor, or niche Azure services
- You’ve likely come from a smaller or scaling team - you’re used to shaping the path, not just following it
- You don’t need hand-holding – you collaborate, contribute ideas, and get things done
