Reporting into the Head of Platforms & Applications, this role is embedded within the Applications team and will work closely with Cyber Security stakeholders. You'll play a critical role in cyber risk mitigation across both clinical and non-clinical applications.
This role suits someone with:
- A strong foundation in application management
- A growing interest or background in cyber security
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Assess the security of web, intranet, and other platform applications
- Assist with Business Analyst activities to support application rationalisation and consolidation
- Act as the bridge between security and applications teams
- Analyse penetration testing results and contribute to remediation planning
- Engage with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Support modernisation of legacy systems and alignment with secure development best practices
- Assist in documentation, change management and BAU handover activities
- Experience with application environments (clinical or non-clinical)
- Understanding of cyber security principles , including secure coding, OWASP Top 10, and risk remediation
- Knowledge of SDLC or Security SDLC
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to liaise confidently between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in healthcare or with clinical applications
- Familiarity with Azure , Microsoft stack , and/or Dynamics 365
- Prior involvement in application transformation or rationalisation projects
- Agile project delivery experience
